Michael Klein

Michael has received a Diploma of Jazz Studies and a BA in Music Education while studying at Capilano University and UBC. He had a passion for music at a very young age, and feels fortunate to have had the opportunity to follow his passions into a career in which he can share his passion for music with others. He has taught music for over 10 years, including the provision of lessons for children with special needs and early learners from ages 3 and up. He has also provided instruction for several clinics, workshops, music festivals and high school programs.

Michael is also an accomplished musician in his own right.  He first gained experience as a side musician for multiple projects, and has performed at many concerts, charity events, weddings, music festivals, conventions, and clubs.  He has since launched his own project in missingNo, a band that has gained a worldwide audience and have since recorded 3 albums and a multitude of music videos.  He has worked not only on-stage, but behind the scenes as well as an experienced studio musician who has been involved in every step of the album-making process.

He is enthusiastic about continuing his musical career and to share his knowledge and experience with others, whether they simply wish to learn an instrument for their own enjoyment, or to embark upon a musical career of their own.
